How to register

 

 

SANTACO

The Taxi Industry Coronavirus Relief Funds was started to assist the Taxi Industry that is affected by the current Coronavirus pandemic.

The fund was launched to provide relief and to apply for to the fund you need to adhere to the following qualifying criteria:

Taxi Association

1. Valid registered Taxi Association
2. Valid association Telephone number
3. Valid association email address
4. Association in good standing with SANTACO
5. Chairperson
   • Valid South Africa Identity Document
   • Valid cell phone number
   • Valid email address
   • Valid South African Driver’s License (Only Applicable to Chairperson)
   • Valid Professional Drivers Permit
6. Secretary
   • Valid South Africa Identity Document
   • Valid cell phone number
   • Valid email address

Once the chairperson and secretary has been registered on the platform, SANTACO will approve the association based on the good standing of the association. Once this approval has been done then only will the association members be allowed to register.

Taxi Industry Claimant

1. Member in good standing at your registered taxi association.
2. Valid South Africa Identity Document
3. Valid cell phone number
4. Valid email address
5. Valid South African Driver’s License (Only Applicable to Taxi owners and Taxi drivers)
6. Valid Professional Drivers Permit
7. Valid South African Bank Account

Once all this information has been submitted via the registration platform the information will be sent to your Taxi Association for verification. Once you have been verified by your Taxi Association, you will receive a notification and is then eligible for claim against the fund.

The claims will then be paid out as per the fund administrators’ guidelines and you will be notified when the claims will be paid out.
