TAXI INDUSTRY CORONAVIRUS RELIEF FUND (TICRF)
The South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) launched the Taxi Industry Coronavirus Relief Fund (TICRF) on Tuesday, 07th April 2020. The launch of the fund is in aid of the Taxi industry, which is not subsidized, unlike other transport providers, has been facing severe challenges since the start of the lockdown.
The fund will be managed by independent professional fund administrators, legal and audit firms to ensure that each rand raised is for the benefit of verified claimants i.e., drivers, queue marshals, rank managers, and taxi owners.

Please note:When you make a donation to the Fund, you will be required to provide certain information to the Fund, including personal information. This information should include: your identity number (for individuals), company registration number or other identifying details (for companies and other legal persons), or trust registration number (for trusts), and the amount that you will be donating. The information you provide will be processed by the Fund, its bankers, the fund administrator, and other third parties, as necessary, to enable the Fund to carry out its functions and to prepare Section 18A tax certificates in relation to donations received. All information will be stored securely and in line with generally accepted information security standards.
